6 Scouts from the 1st New Cross had a real adventure, completing the Expedition Challenge together. Starting from Edenbridge, they hiked to Hammerwood for an overnight hammock camp and dinner cooked on a Trangia, then the following day they hiked to Broadstone Warren.
It was the first taste of independence for them, and their leaders are very proud of how they rose to the challenge. They came back to the Scout group with newfound confidence, tales from the trail, and lots more skills and experience!
