Two Scouts from the 17th Forest Hill Scout Troop have completed their Chief Scout Gold Award, the highest award in the Scout section. These individuals have managed to complete all nine Scout Challenge Badges, tackling the final challenges during the Coronavirus Pandemic and Lockdown. Each challenge badge brings its own requirements, asking those participating to connect with their wider world; explore their faiths; pitch a tent and practice their camping skills; work as a team to achieve a common goal and above all, learn something new!

Scouts spends the 4 years in the sections working towards getting this badge and we as leaders try our hardest to get every scout earning this award. If you would like to achieve your Chief Scout Award, take a look at the requirements for all of the Top Awards here.

If you know of any young people who have achieved their Top Awards, please tell us know about them! We want their stories and their pictures to shout about!
