The volunteers at Hammerwood Scout Campsite have been working hard redeveloping the buildings and the carpark at the site. They began during 2020, clearing the flag stones, old fencing and laying the ground work.
Using a grant from the Lottery Fund, Hammerwood has gained a new and improved parking area, ready to withstand any British weather. They have also included a new flag pole, wheel chair access to the buildings and ranch style fencing across the site.
