This role will be responsible for support and advice on activities matters (including acting as line manager to activities advisers) and for managing District Events, which in most cases will be run by ad-hoc teams.
The following are the ‘General’ duties of the role which will be made more specific in accordance with the needs of the District on appointment to the role.
-Identify needs for District Events and publish a programme of events;
-Ensure that all events are properly managed, including ensuring appropriate risk and financial management;
-Appointing and managing Activity Advisers where needed.
