Hello! My name is Reuben and I am in 1st New Cross Scouts.

Today I did the 7mile Junior Bridgnorth Walk. The walk included a climb to the top of the Brown Clee which is the highest hill in Shropshire and is 540m above sea level. As the walk is mainly uphill it was pretty tiring and it hurt my feet!

I did the walk to fundraise for an International Scout Trip- Croatia 2023 and Macmillan Cancer Support.
I am going, with around 120 other Scouts from South London to Croatia.  It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have this experience with so many other Scouts, I’m grateful to be able to go as Scouting is very important to me. We are going to be there for 10 days and are going to be doing lots of exciting activities and having new experiences. We will learn team building, Scouting skills and learn about the culture of another country.  It is very exciting and a great opportunity for us but the money to pay for it is a lot and we need to fundraise.

I have decided also to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support I helped my Dad last year when he was diagnosed with cancer.
So far I have raised £802! If you would like to help support, you can Here.

Thank you to all my sponsors,
Reuben
