International

Members of the Lewisham Scout District have recently taken part in a number of International expeditions. The most recent was a trip to Kenya to support Scouting there and to help at a Harambee for Kenya safe house for homeless children at Kisii. This was the second visit by Scouts from Lewisham to this safe house and on both occasions the expedition members have raised funds to assist with some much needed improvements to the safe house.

The District has also sent expeditions to Nepal where the members of the expedition have undertaken personally challenging activities and also provided help to a Non Government Funded school called EPHC (Education Protection and Help for Children) in Kathmandu.
