Lewisham Beavers have an eggcellent time at Easter Hunt

21 November 2016

Over 50 Beavers from eight colonies from Lewisham Scouts took part in our annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Frylands Wood Scout Outdoor Centre.
Beavers also made Easter hats and bonnets also took part in a competition with chocolatey goods being award to the prize-winners.
In addition to the Easter themed fun, the bright weather allowed for a kick about and even some impromptu fire making (minus the matches) from our eager adventurers.
Michelle Buckle, Assistant District Commissioner for Beavers said: “It was nice to have more of our young people, Leaders and parents joining us this year and of course we would not be able to do these event with out the support of the SAS and some of the DMT who came along to lend a hand. I think a good day was had by all.”
